Merchants who apply through your branded button will ask what happens next. If your support team says “we sent you to 150 banks,” the merchant will wait for 150 calls. Matching is not a blast. It is a marketplace process: a completed application is shopped to lenders whose boxes might fit. Some files get offers. Some do not. You are not the lender. Loanable is not the lender. The funder is a provider in the 150+ network.
Your white-label job is to get a complete application with your unique partner link still attached. Then matching can occur. If a lender funds, you earn 50/50 of Loanable profit, Monday ACH, no minimum. If you skip documents in the name of UX, matching has nothing to buy. There is no public API that returns a match list you can pretty-print in your app.
Explain the steps in user language
You apply. You upload what the form asks for. Lenders review. Someone may offer. Funding, if it happens, is from that lender. Some working-capital files fund as soon as 24 hours. Term and SBA take longer. Large facilities up to $50M take a real underwriting process. Your brand on the page does not shorten SBA.
- Do not show a map of 150 logos as if all of them are reviewing right now
- Do not invent a progress bar tied to a fake API
- Do not promise a yes to close a SaaS upgrade
- Do tell them who to ask when a lender needs another statement
Your role during matching
You can nag the user to finish uploads because you see they clicked and the dashboard still says started. You should not negotiate terms you do not have. You should not pick a favorite lender in the UI to protect a side residual. The point of a marketplace white-label is coverage, not a hidden exclusive.
When matching returns nothing
Say so without blaming the merchant’s character. Boxes miss. Files are thin. Stacking is real. Offer to let them complete a cleaner package later. Do not immediately fire a second unattributed MCA ad at them from a random shop — you will teach them to ignore your brand. Keep the same ref for a second attempt.
What your status page should never say
Do not put Loanable matching on your SaaS status page as if it were your uptime. If lenders are slow, your API is not down. If a merchant got declined, your incident channel is not the place. Separate status keeps you from writing “degraded lending” when you meant “a file did not fit a box.” You are not the lender.
Your in-app status, if any, should be: application started, or we do not show status — check email from the marketplace/lender. Inventing match percentages from a fake API will be screenshotted. 150+ lenders is coverage. As-soon-as-24-hour working capital is a best case. $50M is a ceiling. 50/50 Monday ACH is yours when unique partner link funded. Matching is a marketplace process you should describe calmly, once, and then stop decorating.
Tell the truth about matching. Launch Loanable’s white-label apply flow so merchants are shopped across 150+ lenders with your unique partner link on the file, and keep your product out of the credit decision.
