The bank letter is when owners call the people they already trust. Accountant, agent, advisor, software vendor. If you freeze, they will take the first Instagram ad. If you over-promise, you become responsible for a product you do not control. The usable middle is a marketplace introduction with a tracked link and honest timing.
Loanable is not a second bank. It matches U.S. businesses to 150+ lenders. Your your unique partner link is the referral. Funded deals pay 50/50 of Loanable profit, Monday ACH, no minimum. Working capital can fund as soon as 24 hours on some files. That is not a rewrite of the bank’s credit policy. It is a different set of boxes.
Help them tell the truth about the decline
If the bank said no because the request was equipment, do not send a working-capital story that hides the invoice. If the decline was NSFs, they will still be on the statements. You do not need to package the file like an ISO. You can still tell them not to crop PDFs. That is a professional courtesy, not brokering.
- Restate the use of funds in one sentence before you send the link
- Do not trash the banker if they still need the deposit relationship
- Do not guarantee an offer to make the client feel better
- Do not stack them into a third advance if you already know they are drowning
What “matched” means
It means lenders in the network look at the application. It does not mean 150 people will call them. Tell them that, or you will create a spam panic on top of a decline. Quiet matching is the product. Blast is not.
You can keep the relationship either way
If they fund, you were the person who had a path. If they do not, you still did not disappear after the bank letter. Large facilities up to $50M will not be the typical post-decline rescue; a smaller working-capital or term match might be. Your economics do not require you to upsell size. They require the ref code to be on the application they actually finish.
What to collect in five minutes so the application is not a stall
You are not packaging an ISO file. You can still ask whether they have recent statements in PDF, whether other advances are pulling, and what the money is for. Write those answers in the email that contains your unique partner link. The owner will forget half of it by the form. You have reduced abandoned applications without becoming their broker.
Follow up once. “Did you finish the marketplace application?” is enough. Daily nagging makes you the ISO. If they fund, you will see it in the dashboard and on Monday ACH, 50/50, no minimum. If they do not, you still were the person with a path after the bank. 150+ lenders is coverage. It is not a guarantee that a thin, stacked file gets a yes.
Be the next step after the bank. Join Loanable’s referral partner program and send declined owners through your partner link instead of a random ad.
